Alan Dale
Owner and President
Alan founded Stonehenge USA in 2006 as a new venture to develop the Twin Cities land holdings of Dale Properties, which was founded by his father in the 1960's. He has had a successful business career developing a number of his family's businesses. After graduating from Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN, Alan began his professional career selling residential real estate. Building on that experience, he started Alan Dale Builders to build custom homes around the Twin Cities area. In addition, Alan's leadership was responsible for turning Minnesota Tile Supply and Dale Tile Company into one of the largest tile contracting companies in the U.S.
In 1998, Alan sold Dale Tile Company to concentrate his efforts on developing the more than 1,200 acres of prime land owned by Dale Properties. Alan has used his leadership skills to become involved in the community comprehensive planning process by actively working with cities in land planning. He also hired real estate veterans, Dave Carland and Jim Ottenstein, to help him build Stonehenge USA into a first-class real estate development company.

Dave is one of the most respected development professionals in the Twin Cities. He brings with him to Stonehenge USA the knowledge and relationships of 26 years experience at a premier national development company. He estimates that he has had a hand in developing over nine million square feet of office, industrial, retail and multi-family real estate including prominent local projects The Milwaukee Road Depot restoration in Minneapolis, Westridge Marketplace Shopping Center in Minnetonka, and the Waters Business Park in Eagan.
Dave graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
Jim Ottenstein
Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Jim joined Stonehenge USA in 2007 and is responsible for accounting, treasury, tax, human resources and IT management. Before coming to Stonehenge USA, Jim was the CFO of a multi-state land development company as well as a national real estate development and property management company. Jim began his career as a CPA in public accounting and has worked in the real estate industry for over 20 years.
Jim earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University Of Wisconsin-Madison. He is a member of the American Institute of CPA's, Minnesota Society of CPA's, National Association of Industrial and Office Properties, and Minnesota Shopping Center Association.
Randy Rauwerdink
Director of Development Services
Randy joined the Stonehenge USA team in 2009 and is charged with providing oversight of all design, construction, and property management activities, as well as assisting in all entitlement and development processes. He brings to Stonehenge over 20 years of diverse experience in planning, development and construction with prominent retailers and national real estate development organizations. In joining Stonehenge, Randy is reunited with Dave Carland and Jim Ottenstein, who he collaborated with for many years at a premier national development company.
Randy began his studies in engineering at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh and completed his studies at the University of Minnesota, School of Architecture.
